I have been wanting some new MT tires for my tacoma but didn't want a lift kit to fit them. Have been getting mixed feelings about what will fit and what won't.

I just put a set of Dakota MT (cooper tire company) 265/75 r16 at pep boys. May not be the best tire but at the price I couldn't go wrong.
all 4 installed for 550.00 then I get 140.00 back on rebate so for a little over $400.00 bucks I got some Mud tires with road hazard warranty and an expected life of 40,000 miles. So far I love these tires. No rubbing on stock suspension and really bites in the soft dirt.

as far as i know it is at all the pepboys. You have to buy all 4 and have them install them and then mail in a rebate for the free tire. But even without the rebate it was about half of what I was getting prices on for mud tires anywhere else.

I would assume it would be at your local pepboys too.

Mine are KMC XD 795 Hoss rims. They're 16x8, 4.5" backspace 0 offset, non-hubcentric, 6 lug on 5.5. I bought them at 4wheelparts.com. They're currently on sale for $125 each. You can get them with free shipping if you ship to a 4wheelparts store and pick them up.

    rob, what size are those?
i called pepboys for 265/70/17 and they said they dont make them in that size.
do you know how much each tire cost?
they said 30 bucks per wheel for mount and balancing at my local pepboys, what a rip off.

Mine are 285/75R16. The cost was $139 per tire plus mounting. You have to get the mounting and balancing to get the rebate.
