I was strongly considering these for my next set of tires, but have decided on the Kelley Safari TSR instead. Nearly identical tires.

What's your price on the Kellys? What is the mileage rating on those?

    Yes
I had a look at them a while ago. I was considering them until I saw them in person. They didn't look like they were moulded well and the rubber looked very hard and plastic-like and the sidewalls also seemed very thin.

Price on the Safari TSR is $177 a piece plus tax, and installation. Because it is a more aggressive tire, I don't think it has a mileage warranty, but I could be wrong.

I have them they are on my good wheels I like them they do good on road and off too. I don't do to much offroading but the little bit I have done they do well I don't think there at loud for being as aggressive as they are. I think there as loud if not quieter than my bfg at's. we had a mild winter last year and I put em on when I got my lift and we had one small snow fall after and they did well dunno about anything deep or icy they do well on wet roads too. Honestly I have been thinking of ditching my bfg at's on my winter wheels and getting another set of these. I ran them all summer 95% on paved roads. I have prob a little over 10k on them and they are wearing great if they have worn at all that is. Hope this helps

Thanks to both of u guys! Great reviews and I also checked out other reviews on the other review thread. If this guy on Craigslist wants to go through with the trade then I'm more than comfortable with this after seeing those reviews.

I've had these tires for two years now and they never let me down. Great off road and on pavement.

I almost didn't buy them only because they were from Wally World but they proved me wrong. Was looking at getting another set but now the tread pattern looks like duratracks.

    .
There's some tire place up in Stockton that bombs CL with their ads, bought my Wrangler M+S's there, paid $700 mounted and balanced, thinkin of going back to 265's for a little better mileage. Might have to look into these Authoritys

yeah i had my doubts because i went to wal mart and the one they had on display looked like it may have been poorly made... but i dont know that much to tell by looking at it. it just kinda looked "plasticky" lol. but everyone seems to like them and im hopefully gonna be getting an incredible deal on these so im gonna go for them as long as i find out these are in good shape.

I say get em especially if you get them at a deal. They may look "plasticky" in the store but that may be because they are kept pretty and clean.

Although Walmart didn't want to mount mine because they were not the size that Toyota specified. All in part because of a lawsuit a while back.

I run 265's, I think it's the biggest they come in.

V not plasticky at all with great amount of flex when aired down. Strong sidewall (no punctures yet due to rocks) but they are fucking magnets for nails and screws.

Not whoring the truck, just wanted you to see what 265's look like compared to my 2nd gen. They will look perfect on a first gen.

holy jizz. lol r those the more expensive ones with the higher load index? i just ask because u said the sidewall is tough. should the load index make a difference on that? i dont know too much about the actual construction of tires... just size and i can distinguish between h/t a/t and m/t lol

I just have a normal load rating I think there c's not e's if I'm correct ill have to look I tow a 24' pontoon boat and a waverunner and they do well under that load even do nicely on the slippery boat ramps. My only complaint are they pick up small rocks and like to hold them or throw them out at some random point but other than that love them.
