I am leaning towards 265/70/17 and am curious to what you guys think the best a/t is for around that price range . ish. Can be above or below if the tire is worth it.
Thanks guys
If there is already a thread for this I appologize. I couldnt find one.

Nitto Terra Grappler. not sure how much $ but i remember the price being very good. My good friend had a set on his z71 that lasted what seemed like forever.

Those would be my choices as well. TireRack does not show much in that price range. The General is about it.

It doesnt HAVE to be that range but of course parents would prefer I dont spend much over 600 on tires haha. but... maybe a more expensive tire has a better deal or rebate?

The Toyo Open Country A/T's aren't that aggressive.

Edit:
General Grabber AT2 is somewhat aggressive. I've seen them on a 4Runner and looked good.
$692@tirerack

I was going to go through onlinetires and tell you.. but there's 19 pages of 265.70r17 so you can have at it.

I agree, I saw some of them on a truck.. they were 265 70 17 on a sencond gen but barely stuck out. Maybe if i bumped it to a 75 it would be better//...

It's really the sidewall that gives the most overall aggressiveness. And tires like Terra Grappler don't look badass to me unless you slap them on a 20" rim.

I was surprised to see Duratracs mentioned so low here... these are so agressive they look like mud terrains, but are rated as AT

Good call!

I have to agree with the dynapros. I get compliments on them all the time and they're fairly cheap, I think I paid $112 each?
