Anyone here ever had experience with Bilstein 5100's set in front at 2.5 with stock coils with 295/70r17 tires? Would I be able to fit the 295s with a cab mount chop and no rubbing? And i have a stock height rear, even though I believe mine is a little higher than most stock tacomas... you can judge it for yourself in my build thread in my sig...

Anyways, wanted to know if I could run those 295s with my 5100s at 2.5 with no rubbing or problems with the cab mount chop already don.

i've got 5100's set @ 2.5, stock sport springs, 285/70/17's and I rub in one spot after trimming and slight rub on cab mount. Nothing worth trimming it though. 295's on 20's and you're ripping bumpers off when you are turning. Especially if you're planning on running an M/T tire. If you want to go that big then you need to be on a full 3" lift front and rear. on 20's you're going to be needing a 6" lift with mt's. You'll also need to deal with hitting the UCA's as well with anything bigger than 285/70/17's. The spot you're going to rub the most is front bumper @ bottom where the 1st clip meets the fender liner after it is all trimmed out. At least thats where mine does.
