I just put lift , wheel spacers, and new tires on my tacoma. after the spacers the center caps dont seem to fit securely,i put a bead of grey silicone around the cap for a little insurance so they wouldnt come off. Has anyone else had this problem? any solutions or ideas will be appreciated. by the way my acct. is empty now so new wheels are a ways away !

Could be the spring/ tension ring/ clips have been bent or fatigued and are not engaging the wheel firm enough to fit tight. Mine will freely turn and wiggle because the clip rings are fatigued.

+1, check and make sure the tension ring is seated in place.

after some more looking it seems that the wheel spacer is so close to the inside size of the rim that it is not allowing the tension clips to spread out and grab the back of the rim

You might be able to file down the edge that is resting against the spacer. Are the spacers steel or aluminum? If steel, you can always epoxy a high power magnet to the inside of the cap to keep it in place.
