^^ Correct. I plan to leave what wheel weights I have on but the beads will help with loss of weights and reduction of tread wear over time.


The tires currently have around 7k on them so it's a little early for the 10k review. I will say they are coming along nicely, even with the heavy offroad use. I went to TX for an offroad event in March and the granite rocks definitely ate up some tread. Their performance however, was astonishing.

I have a buddy who runs 17" raceline beadlocks on 35" KM2's and has the same exact bb's in his. No weights and says from 0 to 65(ish) there's no wobble.

That picture was from a snow storm that left us 12" over night! Maybe not much for some states, but it was for Arkansas. Needless to say, I was playing taxi cab for all my friends and family with vehicles unable to drive in the conditions. It blew my mind how well these tires handled in the snow and ice. If the tires could talk I could only imagine they were laughing at me saying, "this is all you got?!"

Just rotated these bad boys. Little early of the 8k mark. Wanted to do it before heading to an offroad event for 3 days this weekend. Tires are looking good. I've noticed some chunking on places. Couple spots got a good bit. Tread is wearing very evenly and they're still full of life!

^Wow, they are looking pretty good. So, you'd say that on snow packed roadways they are sure footed? That's my only gripe for my siped KM2s. The kill the deep snow, but on snow packed roadways, they don't inspire confidence. They never have let me down, but I they don't feel like they are in their element in the packed stuff...

They do great in all snow conditions. I mean, I wouldn't do 30 in them with snow and ice on the ground. That's just asking for trouble with any tire. But I had no problems on the roads after the snow and ice got good and packed. I took my time everywhere I went and they chugged along gracefully and safely. I never had any oh shit scary sliding moments with them.

Haha, 30? You would get blown off the road going that slow in the snow here. Not that it is especially safe, but doing 50-60 on the interstate with the road to shit is quite common.

People in your state are quite use to that weather. While people in my state think the world is coming to an end when a snowflake falls. Not only that but people that don't belong on the roads try anyways and usually cause wrecks or find the nearest ditch.

Got about 5k on my 315s and so far so good. Was pleased with the way they handled in the sand (where I off road most), they do tend to dig as most muds do, but still do pretty darm good. The traction up in the mountains is great though, hook up real good and keep my 2wd truck out of trouble.

Bumpity, how are they treating you JWaldz and Salty?

Do these get better MPG than other MTs in your experience? The pattern looks like it would be a bit smoother in the road with the interlocking tread blocks.

Just added a 10k review. I have ran a few different m/t tires buy not all on my 4runner. These are really smooth but they do cause you to wander a little when you hit a crevice in the road. They aren't as loud as some others I've had but they're not quiet either. Very bearable though. My mpg sucks regardless of the tires so it's hard for me cover that subject with them. Being in the 35" flavor, however, I'm sure it does drain the tank a little quicker than a set of 33's.
