Hey guys, just curious if I could get some estimates on what you think I should put my "used" tires/wheels up for? The tires have less than 3000 miles, both wheels/tires came off my 2012 Tacoma, I upgraded to Nitto's and BMF's. I separated them and on craigslist have the tires advertised for $640 for 4, and the wheels I'm not sure what to price them at. They truly are in excellent condition. Factory price has them at 515 each so obviously I will need to drop some from there. Any one been in a similar boat or have advice? thanks!

Here's a set of 4 sport wheels, with bald tires, for $250 total and he hasn't been able to sell them.

Here's a set of sport wheels for $225. Still for sale.

As for the tires I would bet you could maybe get $400 for them. Maybe.

I'd throw them on Craigslist for $600 for the tires, $500 for the wheels. They might sell for $500 for the tires and $400 for the wheels. On here, they won't sell that high because, as KPT pointed out, there are a lot more options on here. But, to a local Tacoma owner not privy to the wonder that is TW, they might think it's a good deal.

Well, there's a trade off with Craigslist... you're just listing wheels and tires on a website with thousands of items for sale. Unless someone who happens to own a Tacoma, or owns something else that the wheels/tires will fit, and happens to search for just the right thing, etc, they might not find your ad and you might have to keep relisting every couple days just to get a bite, not to mention the sketchy phone calls and people you could end up dealing with. It could even take you weeks or months to sell them at the higher rate on Craigslist.

The other option, list them a little lower on here. Pretty much everyone here owns a Tacoma. The ones that don't might still have either an FJ or 4Runner in which case your wheels/tires still fit. You could have them sold in a matter of days to a local member (disclaimer, local member might still be sketchy :D).

No worries... it happens all the time and at least your comment was on the same topic as the OP.
