Exclamation whats the offset for an 08 4x4 tacoma anyone??

i bought new wheels for my truck but they dont fit the back of the rim hits the break caliber i need help trying to find out what size rim i need and the offset i need

i know thats what i thought too but when i got home today and tried to put them on they would fit and i got pissed because i drove from las vegas to LA to pick these up

Maybe the guys that have them can chime in... I've heard of some people shaving their calipers a bit to get wheels to fit.

So there is no way i cant get a soft 8 or any rockcrawler wheel to fit on my 2nd gen. Some one on here said that if the backspacing was 4" instead of 4.5" it should clear the caliper. Is this true.

You can use a set of Spidertrax wheel spacers.

I'm looking to get 16s with a 0 offset and 4.5 backspacing. That should fit. The Pro Comps 7089 should be fine as that is one of the wheels I was looking at.
