Question 245/75R16 on MB 72 wheels fit/help question

I apologize for a "will it fit" thread, but I searched around and could not find a positive answer so here it goes.

I ordered (spur of the moment after getting frustrated with local prices) a set of rims and snow tires for my 2009 SR5 4x4 (access cab).

I am now realizing I did not take wheel varience into consideration and am trying to figure out if the following will work with no issues, I need a good snow tire setup, live on a long steep private road and will be gone for the winter (so my gf will most likely ignore any rubbing or issues while I am gone )

Hankook I*Pike RW11 245/75R16 snow tires mounted on MB Wheels 72 (16X8.5 6-139.7 -6MTB)

I do not intend or want to lift or get spacers. Trying to figure out if I should (and can) cancel my order.

thanks in advance!

8.5" might be a little wide for 245s since the come stock on 7" wheels
All the 245s I saw have a max wheel width of 8"
I don't know if BS/ offset will cause problems.

According to Hankook's web site, the RW11 in 245/75R16 fits 6.5" to 8.0" wide wheels. Suggest you change the tire size to 265/70R16, which will fit 7.0" to 9.0" wide wheels. It's the stock tire size for TRD Off Road package, same outer diameter as 245/75R16.

Wheel will stick out further than stock. Should give an aggressive stance.

Yeah,
I just saw that on their site, wish the website would have picked up on that incompatibility.

Will 265/70s rub with this rim?

thanks

No. You should be able to keep the mudflaps on.

Anyway, Discount Tire would have picked up the incompatibility when they attempt to mount the tires on the wheels.

well, discount tire did not pick up on the incompatibility. Now i need to refuse the shipment and do a lot more research as far as rims and tires goes. The offset has really introduced a new factor, a lot more to this than ordering and slapping them on. Now i need to really research what rims I can use without having them stick out too much and fling rocks on my truck
