hi i am about to purchase these rims, my only question is is it absolutely necessary to buy new lug nuts? would the old ones be too short? also since they are not hubcentric rims will i notice anything different?

I can't for sure tell you, but I think it would look bad if you kept the stock ones. Chances are that they won't fit properly either because I believe the stock lug nuts have a washer around them. At least mine do.....

I am not sure if first gen is the same, but you will need new lug nuts for second gen.
