2004 4-cyl regular cab with 205/75R15s tires on stock rims, I'm set on putting 31/10.5s or 265/75s on a 15x8 rim. From everything I have found, this should be fine without a lift, but I have no idea what a safe backspace is. I have been looking at rims with a 3" bs but is that ok to run? I want my tires to stick out the wells a bit too

    Is your truck a 5-lug or 6-lug?

5-lug. From what I could find, I believe my current wheels have a 4.625" bs

I don't think I've ever seen anyone fit 265/75's on a 5 lug with no lift :notsure:

What I should ask is how much might I need to lift it so they fit, and would I be ok running them for a few weeks no lift?
