    Hi All,
I am getting a stage II Icon lift for my 2006 taco and am wondering what the biggest tires I can put on without rubbing or needing to regear.
    thanks-

    285's with a cab chop.

I'm assuming its a 6" lift? I've heard fro multiple people that try and fit 35's even with a 6" lift that they have to trim and cut a pretty good amount. 33's would be your safest bet.

Icon Stage 2 is a 2-3" lift. Not a DB lift

Devlin, if you don't want to do the Cab mount chop, you can run 265's no problem (which is what I will be running with my stage 1.5)

Ohh okay. Yeah you can run 285's with minor trimming but you will still rub the cab mount at full tilt but not by much.

Icon MT suspension, Pelfreybuilt front bumper, Relentless skids, Avid sliders, Avid custom rack. Pelfreybilt HC Rear bumper.
I have the ICON Extended travel setup. Superb suspension! I bought 265/75R16 Dura-Trac tires because I did not want to have to cut sheetmetal on a 2 month old truck.

After these tires are beat to shit I may go bigger to 285/75R16's but then will regear to 4.56:1 and hopefully a rear locker, big money for gears locker and labor, but then I will be as good as it goes short of a long travel setup IMHO.

Plenty of things to spend money on in addition to tires my friend. Think about sliders and skid plates too if you want to get serious off-road capable.

But GOOD 265/75R16's will get you pretty far.
