Should I get the lifetime alignment? I can get it for $100 bucks. I don't need it now, but its a good deal.

I've used it three times in one year. Make sure they give you a printout of the values, or else they will only adjust toe.

Hell i do this on my truck and my wifes lifted 4runner. I drop them off at least once a month while we eat breakfast, however make sure you ask for the initial readings and the final results. skytower is right they will try and only adjust the toe to make it quick and easy. I take full advantage of the lifetime deal

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
It is about $70 for one alignment, which you will probably need at least once over the life of your truck (assuming you hold onto for more than just a couple of years), so for $30 bucks more just to be able to have it looked at with every little curb you hit, worth it. Do you need your truck looked at after you hit curb, not necessarily, but if you could why not.

This is true. Can't tell you how many times their printer is 'broken.' Do it yourself too, everytime my old lady gets an alignment they give her the run around.

Where at in Texas? I can recommend a few firestones to stay away from in the south Houston area.

I have dropped $210 on alignments since I got my truck. Once by Firestone after my lift for $60 than I installed UCA's took it back to Firestone and they either could not read directions or were to lazy to do the alignment correctly. I did not have to pay that time. I ended up having to take it to 4 wheel parts for $150 but it was done correctly. So I would ask questions what they are willing to do on the lifetime alignment. A lot of techs are lazy and don't want to do the actual alignment they just want to adjust toe and move on.

Ya I got the Firestone lifetime alignment for $80.00. Befor I purchased it I told the manager that I was lifting the truck about 2 inches "no problem" - PROBLEM!!! Dip shits here in Ohio don't have a clue how to align a truck with LR UCA's even after I told them how to do it, even after Chris from Specialty Products Corp. spoke directly with the tech. They couldn't - wouldn't get it right so they refunded my money. GOOD LUCK with Frickendrones.

    Build thread in sig...
Find a good firestone and you'll be more than pleased. I used my liftetime 7 times last year. got it realigned after each big wheeling trip. they've gotten to know my truck, and know that i tip pretty good for a job well done, so they don't mind me bringing it in all of the time. just have to find a good shop and build a decent relationship with it.
and congrats on getting a good deal!

I work at a Firestone, my manager doesn't let us do lifted vehicles. So sometimes it's not that the techs are lazy, I would actually like doing lifted trucks

Well I just got back from FIRESTONE. Turns out I didn't need an alignment. At least I don't have too pay for one again...THE BAD NEWS is I had to get a refund on the balancing of the tires because the techs couldn't get the tires off. The manger told me the lugs were either seized which they could turn up the impact and free it, but if they were CROSSED THREADED it meant they would risk breaking the wheel studs and lugs. I made a appt at NTB for a tire rotation ( free since I purchased the tires there) so if they tell me the same thing I will tell them that's their responsibility since they were the last ones to mount/dismount my tires.
