A 265/70-17 and 265/75-16 (31.5-31.8) both fit with a little space left. The 265/70-17 is one of 5 FJCruiser take-offs I bought. Are You going to buy 5 wheels? or use the factory steel wheel? What kind of Tacoma do You have?, the standard P245/75-16's are already over 30" at 30.4-30.6.

i have stock tires and rims that come with my 2007 tacoma TRD 4x4. i am going to keep the same rims, but i was just wondering how big of a tire could fit under there, because i am about to purchase some studded snow tires and i dont want lug around the 5th tire in my bed. i believe my stock tires are 245/75-16
