I have a 1999 Toyota Tacoma 4wd and ever since I bought new tires and had them balanced, the whole truck shimmys at around 60 mph. I took it back to the shop and come to find out the back driver side wheel will not balance. The wheel has notches that are bent so it won't sit in the balancing machine to get balanced, and it won't sit flush on the hub. Would this cause the shimmy, the whole truck shakes. Can I use a regular wheel without the notches I am talking about or does it have to be a wheel with notches. Either way I am looking for a factory wheel off of a 1999 Toyota Tacoma so if someone has laying in the garage, shoot me a PM.

if it didnt shimmy before tires were put on it sounds like could be a bad tire or they might have bent whell when they put tires on it .
