TRD Sport came with 265/65/17s, but I saw an XSP with 18" Ultra Maverick Alloy and BFG All Terrain KO tires on the lot. Decided to upgrade mine to these, but 265/65/18s were ridiculously more expensive that 270/65/18s. Ran this through the tire calculator and there is 1.5" difference in diameter from the stock tires. Looks like plenty of clearance though and hope there won't be a rubbing problem. Anyone know offhand? I did not see that tire size listed anywhere on the forum.

Actually I meant to say these were 275/65/18s. In any case, there is a 1.5" difference in diameter. There is a 1.5" clearance on the front mudflaps if I turn the wheel all the way. Shouldn't I have .75" of play if my calcs are right?

I was looking at putting the 275/65/18 BFG's on my stock crome clad wheels until i can upgrade. When you said it didn't work, did you have rubbing?

Everything I have read on here says max tire size for stock with an 18" rim is 265 65.... So I will say yes you will rub with a 275
