20% tint on the front windows. 8-15-13 Installed Icons front and rear with Dakars. 2012 4Runner wheels with 275/70/17 BFG T/A KO2's. Weather Tech mats front and back. Leer shell with Leer Locker and roof racks.
I've been hooked on the site and so many of you have AWESOME Tacomas and finally I am looking to purchase new tires with an upcoming 3" lift or Bilstein setup. I'd we thinking 285/70/17 BFG AT's on stock TRD Sport wheels but may go 275/70/17 as they are a little smaller and I want to minimize trimming. Do I need spacers?

    Thanks All!

You will need adapters with the stock wheels with 285s or else it's most likely going to rub on the UCA. Plus with the wider stance, the overall look will be more aggressive. Good luck!

Spidertrax spacers are the popular ones on here. You WILL need them to clear UCAs. You will also need to trim a lot of the black plastic out of the fender.

Thanks all for the advice. So I think the 275/70/17's sound like the way to go which I prefer. Will I still need spacers and or UCA's and if so want size? I'd like to minimize how far out the tires project as well as the most minimal trimming if any.

Brian is your recommendation based on the 285's or 275's or both? BTW your Tacoma is awesome!
