misleading.

for those of you running 285's with a 3" lift, how bad of rubbing did you find you had after the lift and install?

I've got a 3" lift with 16x9's and 285/75/16 and I'm thinking about going to 265/75/16 because I get some rub at full lock and when the suspension flexes... It's not horrible, but its there. I just am not sure how 265/75/16's will look on 3" of lift? Might be a little too much wheel well showing for my taste?

A lot of guys are running 265/75s on a 3" lift, IMO opinion it is hit and miss with looks. I have seen some trucks that look great with em, and others look like they have a lot of wheel well space. Go figure, lol

what rubs?

if it is the plastic, just cut it off. if it is the cab mount, do the cab mount chop. you don't have to go to a smaller tire. I wheel the piss out of mine and don't rub anywhere
