Does anyone know why my 2003 tacoma's wheel vibrates going arund 65mph and not 30mph or 80mph? And the other odd thing is that i just got the wheels balanced and all the drum brakes and rotors checked by toyota and they said they were fine. Please, feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Did the vibration start after you got them balanced or before?

How about an alignment check and don't rule out a defective tire. Do a visual check for deformity.

The vibration started before the tires were balanced and fortunately it did fix the vibration in the brakes but now the steering wheel really vibrates going about 60mph and does not vibrate going 75mph or 40mph. The tires do have roughly 35,000 miles on them so maybe it could be a tread problem. Any input?

What happens when you step on the brakes?
