Ok.. I just bought my truck last week, and of course there are several things I want to do already. But I have limited funds so I'm throwing out different ideas in my head.

One of the only things I don't like about my truck is the tire/wheels on it. It has the 245 Dunlops and 16" steel wheels... My question is would it be dumb or unattractive (for lack of better words) to put new wheels on the stock tires? Eventually I'm going to put bigger tires and black rims on... but in no way can i afford tires right now.

For whatever reason, I feel like the stocks I have make the truck look cheap.. what do you think? Should I just invest the money in other things I want to do (tonneau cover and/or nerf bars)?

    Thanks for your time/help

Quite frankly, my stock Dunlops scared the shit out of me. Some purchasing agent for Toyota is getting money, booze and bimbos for authorizing the purchase one of the worst tires possible to be put on Tacomas from Dunlop.

Put looks secondary and get some safe tires on your truck.
