I have a 2007 4x4 Tacoma double cab. It has a 6 in. suspension lift. It currently has 35x12.50's. I am in the market for new tire and was wondering how it would look if I were to down size the tire to a 33x12.50.. To much lift not enough tire?

Did you by chance search before you asked that ridiculously common question?

Please re-read my question again, maybe slower this time.. you will notice I already have 35's, which was the same as in the pic you posted for me. I am curious as to how my truck would look with 33's. Thanks for trying.

lolz, there isn't anything wrong with my eyes (or my brain for that matter). I read your question and I posted you a LINK that if you click on it takes you to google and helps you SEARCH what you're looking for. Here, I'll post it AGAIN... this time in plain form.

https://www.google.com/search?btnG=1&pws=0&q=tacoma+6+lift+33s (notice how it says 33s?)

    Don't bullshit a bullshitter...

Scroll to the bottom of the page and there is a box that says "Similar threads" click on any of those and you will find your answer.

I am a competent adult and I am totally aware of how to work google. I was more looking for opinions other than mine that I get from looking at pics. My fault for not specifying.

Whippersnapper was banned for similar remarks. why do ppl feel the urge to insult others that are new and ask a simple question. sometimes its better to ask as searching can be frustrating. sorry op. we are not all that way in here.

I get your concept and what your wanting, but did you ever consider searching? The question is asked a lot, and what is our opinion of a bunch of strangers compared to an already answered question by a bunch of strangers. I don't mind answering repetitive questions, I'm on enough boards to see it over and over again. I also don't mind helping search for people. I wasn't initially trying to be a dick, more of maybe just a smart ass. Some find humor in it, others don't, but your second post made me pop off.

I don't feel the need to insult others. It's not like I hunt people down who ask repetitive questions just to be a dick to them. I'm a firm believer in research, and I do TOOOONNNNNSSSS of it before I ask questions. Even if I don't find what I'm looking for specifically, I post a question in a relative thread instead of making a new one. But, when I can literally take the posters question, type it in google, and within seconds find 100's or answers.... where do YOU draw the line???

If the OP came in here and had 2 pictures of his truck, one with 6" lift and 35's and one with 6" and 33's and was looking for opinions of what looked better, that's a different story. However, that was not the case.

His post was more like joining a chevy truck forum, and the first post is wanting to see pics of white chevy trucks with color matching front bo-ties. I mean seriously c'mon.....

I think the reason why people feel the need to unsult is because a 5 year old can research something. There are hundreds of pictures, sorry, thousands of pictures with 6" lifted tricks on 33s or 35 on Tacomaworld, and when you add google......
You can also find dozens of people asking the same thing "Opinions on lift kits/tire combo etc.."

If people would take a little more time searching vs taking the lazy way out and making a new thread so it pops to the top of the threads and they get attention, life would be a little smoother. ;) (This can be an analogy for many things in life, people raised to take the easy way out)

That being said i already gave me reply to his post ;)

    So can i fit 33's with the ome/bilstein 5100 lift? I kid i kid. :)

Why does op wanna get smaller tires? Big lift with small tires looks funny imo.

I wanna down size for only one reason. Save 75 bucks per tire.

With a big 6" lift, you definitely should stick with 35s.

Not sure where I stole this pic from, but the tire size is 255/85/16. This was from back in the day when I was looking at every tacoma I could find with that tire size. I THINK it's a 6 inch lift. Here ya go.

Looks good but I'd go with a wider tire
