So from my understanding from threads I have read the the higher the backspacing on a wheel the closer less room you have.. IE: 4.5 will have more room than 4.75.. Or am i thinking backwards and 4.75 would have more room? Please correct me if I am wrong please.

I am looking on getting some coil overs and new upper arms in the near future and I have noticed a lot of them have a max backspacing. For ex camburg's is max 4.50. Now for the question if I where to get a wheel with 4.75 backspacing I would need a spacer for clearance for the camburg as an example.

    Thnx in advance!

From what I understand the higher the number it is, the closer in its going to be. I read that the stock trd wheels are 5.5" backspacing so I wheel that is 4.5" backspacing is going to sit out further(wider stance)

You guys are both correct. Less BS will provide you more inside clearance.
