What's the largest tire size I can get on my TRD with 16" wheels with out a lift? I have the factory BFGs right now and I hate 'em. I would like to get the Dick Cepek FC-IIs, but I think smallest size they make for a 16" wheel is the 32x10.50x16s.

Your truck looks good! You don't experience any tire rub at that size?

285/60/18s will rub a bit when turning wheel all the way & with it turned some while hitting bump at same time. Nothing crazy but something to be aware of. I'm sure it'd rub like crazy doing anything fun offroad. No lift yet.......Planning on aal 1.5-2.0 plus bilsteins in back maybe with timbrens since I got stuck with 3 leaf tsb springs since over 36k when I bought truck. Front probably 2.5 spacer since bilsteins are not 5100s.

i took my flaps off just incase when the tire guy installed he wouldnt get all upset if they rubed a bit, im going to reinstall them, it looks like they will fit right back on no problem, plus my rear were falling off!!!

i believe my trd came with 17 inch , bridgestone dueler h/t. will the 17 inch change the max tire size i can get into or is it the same?

and also will going from h/t to a/t or others change the durability of the tires?

    thank you

I was actually wondering the same thing, my 09 tacoma came with 265/65/R17 tires, and I was hoping to fit 265/75/R17's without any rubbing...(stock so far, lift is going to have to wait a bit :)) Does anyone know if the 265/75/R17's will not rub?

    thanks!!:canada:
