BFG Rugged Terrains vs. Hankook DynaPro (P265/65/18)

    Folks,

    I've narrowed down my search for tires to these two. The BFG's are hwy all-season and the kooks are on/off road AT. If you've owned either one, can you share/educate with me your experience? Since BFGs are all-hwy, does that mean they get better MPG? I looked at the specs and they weight about the same. Any thoughts/input is appreciated

    i run the kooks and they have been a good tire. p rated sidewalks are a little soft for hauling.

    I just put in a set of Rugged Terrains last week... we have about 5 inches of snow right now and I just got back from playing around. These things are like glue in the deeper snow. I couldn't even get the traction control light to come on in 4Hi.

    They are a bit louder say 40-60mph but its not unbearable.

    I don't normally tow anything so I am happy to stick with the P rated tire.

    The RF10s are a great set of tires for a moderately aggressive AT. I ran mine in everything from Moab to snow and they excelled everywhere. Mud is probably the only terrain they are not that great in.
