Patagonia A/T tires anyone?

So I went to my local tire shop for a few quotes on new tires. I told the guy I was looking to spend less than $1000. So of course he showed me the bfg ta KOs ($1023) then a set of rugged terrain($984). But last he showed me something he said he had just got in. I had never heard of Patagonia A/Ts($732). All prices are otd with free rotation every 6k miles and balancing every 12k. Any one have any experience with Patagonia A/Ts?

If you're looking for a decent all-terrain on the cheap, I would recommend the Hercules Terra Trac A/T. It's an American made tire and I've had phenomenal luck with its more aggressive cousin.

I just got these from Discount Tire Direct. IDK what size you were looking at but these are 265/75-16 Cooper ATP's and cost 520.00 shipped(plus i got a 50$ rebate at the time of purchase). Spent another 60 today to get them mounted and balanced at a local shop.

I was looking at 265/75 r16. $520 sounds great for my budget. I could put the other $500 toward my bilstiens and aal!
