Hey guys I'm new here having transfered from a FJ to a Tacoma. My question is I have found a good deal on some MB TKO rims that are hub centric and the size is 17/8.5 6 139.7 25mtb. Same rim for my truck on discounts website has the same rim but with 6mtb, so is that much of a difference? the rims came off of a chevy Z71. Ive been reading almost every thing on this forum but havent seen an answer. Any help would be great

Wheels that are hub centric for a Chevy will not fit a toyota. The hub bore is too small by a good amount. 78mm vs 106mm

so if its both hub and lug centric its still no good for toyota, right? the guy is telling me its both hub and lug centric, and i can remove the center hub ring

If you can remove the center ring and the bore is over 106mm then it will work.

However those have too much offset anyways for a toyota. They actually have more backspacing than the stock wheels.

That depends on what size tires you want to run now, and may want to run in the future.

The +6 offset will be okay for 265s, but if you want to go up to 285s after the lift, they will sit too close to the uca.

    4.5" of backspacing, and a 3" lift
