Ballistic Jesters

Hey guys i really want a set of these,

http://www.ballistic-wheels.com/Blac...ster-814-black

But from what i have read it looks like my size i need isnt on there? can i make any of those sizes work or no?
17x9 does that mean i just need a wider tire instead of the 7.5 i have on now?

For my 2006 Tacoma double cab TRD Sport

Yes...?

I'm replying not because I know what I'm talking about, but because I've been trolling TW for two weeks now trying to figure out similar things.

You can put virtually any rim and tire you want on your Tacoma, provided that you have the space for it, or are willing to cut away, that it matches the bolt pattern (6x139 / 5.5" bolt pattern), etc., etc.

In your case, yes, you would need 9" wide tires to put on your 17x9 rims.

I've discovered by reading build threads, that pretty much everybody here will end up buying tires and rims at the same time, or buying the rims, and letting them sit in the garage until they can afford the tires to put on them. It's not all that common for folks to put old tires on new rims, but it can happen, provided all the math works out. Either way, adding new rims is actually adding new wheels, and it comes to be the cost of the rims PLUS the cost of the tires. Updating your wheels is a very, very expensive process.

It seems to me that most reasonable people here are suggesting that you START with determining the tires you want, and then picking rims that will work with those tires best.

There are plenty of people on this board with 17x9 Jesters. I looked at them myself. Still not sure where I want to go with rims yet.

I'm still trying to figure all the concepts out, but I'm getting there.
