Tread Lightly! Announces Falken Tire as its Newest Official Partner and the Official Tire of Tread Lightly!

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (March, 25, 2013) – Falken Tire has become the newest corporation to join Tread Lightly!’s ever-growing alliance of partners dedicated to promoting responsible recreation and good stewardship of the great outdoors.

“We are excited to announce Falken Tire as the Official Tire of Tread Lightly! and the possibilities this new partnership holds,” said Lori McCullough, Tread Lightly!’s executive director. “Falken Tire is establishing itself as one of Tread Lightly!’s top-tier partners from the get-go. Not only are they providing a cash investment to the nonprofit organization, Falken has also agreed to aggressively help grow Tread Lightly!’s grassroots base by providing tire rebates as part of the package of benefits that comes with the privilege of an individual’s membership in Tread Lightly!.”

As part of their partnership, Falken has pledged a $100 rebate on a set of WildPeak A/T tires to individuals who join Tread Lightly!’s membership at the $50 level and above. As an incentive for individuals to renew their membership in Tread Lightly!, Falken is providing a $50 rebate to any person who renews their existing membership at the base level of $25 and up.

It’s in large part because of individuals’ memberships that Tread Lightly! is able to continue educating the public on the importance of responsible recreation by enhancing and promoting existing programs such as Tread Trainer, Restoration for Recreation and Respected Access is Open Access. According to Tread Lightly!’s executive director, Falken’s contribution is expected to make a tremendous difference in the organization’s ability to reach the more and more enthusiasts within the outdoor recreation community.

This might be a good thing for Falken. I would choose any retreaded tire over the junk Falken puts out.
