Good Year Dura trac & MT/R

Been reading up on both for some time. Seems like Good Year needs to use the MT/R carcus with a Dura trac tread to have a really good, tough all around tire.

Thoughts?

They need to make both tires in more sizes, crazy sizes like 255/80r-17, 275/80... more sizes.

I agree 100%!!! I've always been partial to Goodyear tires but I like tall narrow tires, not wide ones. BFG makes the tire sizes I like best but if Goodyear would, my next set would be MT/R's.

Come on Goodyear, pay attention, a lot of us like the pizza cutters!!!

Not a bad idea. Write them and tell them that. Or just sipe the shit out of a set of MT/R's

I love the traction from the Duratracs and some of my friends have had issues with the side walls. I have about 30-40k on my set with zero sidewall issues.....I'm also not rock crawling all the time. I have only been in serious rocks once and they performed flawlessly.

If they made them in 255/85/16's with stiffer sidewalls I would be all over it. My KM2's in that size dig a little much inthe deep sugar sand. Duratrac tread floats over the sand and better in the ice.
