275/70/17 on 17x9 wheels go or no go?

Just bought 17x9 0mm off set 5" backspace konig six shooters. Going to buy the icon lift with the icon aal in the rear will these tires hit the uca? I know i will have to trim minor fenders a little bit.

 

Not the exact same specs for me - I have the stock TRD sport wheels which I *believe* is 7.5" and 5.5" backspace. I do rub slightly on my UCA. Only the passenger side for some reason. My driver's side does not rub at all.

 

I'm on stock Sport wheels , no rub on my LR UCA's

 

thanks for the replies guys but just found out that those tires wont mount up to the 9" wide rim so ima have to go with a 285.

 

You won't have any rubbing on the UCA with 17x9" / 5" backspacing and 275mm or 285mm tires. I've tested numerous tires with the 17x9" Konig Six Shooters and 18x9" FN BFDs.

You will want to stick with a P-Metric (designated as P265/70R17 or P275/70R17) if you go with a 9" wide wheel and 265mm or 275mm tires.

285's will work in either LT or P-Metric as you mentioned (P285/70R17 or LT285/70R17).

 

Hi I just got my sweet 17x9 konig's. They are getting fondled in the basement pending arrival of LR UCAs.

Think I'll be able to run Nitto Terra Grapplers in p265/70r17's okay? I'm doing a toytec lift (Bilsteins all around with fronts at .85 + eibachs and a 2" AAL). I don't see a 275 in r17 for the Nitto's and I don't think I want to go as big as 285's.
