So Im looking at buying rockcrawler rims for my truck. 16x8 4" backspacing. Has anyone ran into problems with them?

I have talked to Rippin101 and he has 4.5" backspacing, but has spacers on his, and still had to do a little grinding to the calipers. Sorry to pirate your pic, but this is what I am looking at getting.

Can anyone clarify if 4" bs would hurt vs. the standard 4.5"

4 would make the tires stick out farther than 4.5 but only 1/2 an inch
but they should get it away from the caliper enought so it wont scrape

I want the same set up but 17" wheels. I Cant find any rock crawlers that wont rub on our calipers. Its getting me mad bc i dont want any fancy wheels just some gloss black rock crawlers. If we go with the 4" bs will that help fix our problem?
