30,000 miles on them... and not a lot of meat left. Still not sure what I am going to get, but the DynaPro ATM in an LT may be it... at least I will know then what the diffrerence will be between an LT and a P Metric of the same tire. I am hoping for more miles! I understand, the ride will be harsher, and the sand driving may need more deflating...

One thing to note about some LT tires and their mileage rating. Some of them, the rubber actually hardens so towards the end of their life, you'll still have some meat left on the tire, it won't wear down quickly at all because the compound has hardened but your grip will be greatly reduced. Just one thing to note about LT tires in general, I'm not sure if the Hankooks will do that do you or not but I've had it happen on a few sets of tires I owned on past full sized trucks.

I lived my Falken Rocky Mountains I got 65k out of them. Made the switch to cooper at Maxx and they have been a great tire so far.

I would look at the cooper at3 or even the toya atII as both come with a treadwear warranty

    Some discussion:

Independent tire shop (where I got my Dynapros 2.5 years ago) highly recommended General Grabber AT2's and strongly advised against Falkens (says they don't last)... he wasn't crazy about Hankooks either (due to the low mileage) but will replace them for me at a discount by pro-rating them. He said the LT over the P will just give me a harder ride, and if I don't heavily load my truck, there's no reason to go to the LT.

On a good note, if I waited... he says there is still plenty of miles left on my Hankooks, maybe 6,000 more miles (they are at 30,000 now). I just don't like driving with minimal rubber...

I have the LT 265 75 Dynapros and I love them. Mileage will go down but they will last a long time. I think I have about 20k and they look new

I have almost 25k on my P-series Dynapros and they still look really good. Curious what PSI you're running? I'm running toward the top end - between 36 and 38 psi, and rotate every 10k miles. Any thoughts on what your low mileage is attributed to?

ETA - I saw elsewhere you run about what I do, so it's not the pressure...odd.

Most driving around town and highway... no burn-outs or many curvy roads medium to no load in truck (except on the rare camping trips). Beach driving in Baja is the only place I run the tires real low, and that isn't very much.

I have never gotten a lot of miles out of tires, but I also don't wait until they're bald to change them... The Dynapros are at 35 psi, and I originally ran them at 38-40 psi... but they were wearing too much in the center (I posted my chalk test). They are at 30,000 miles now and they could go another 5,000 miles.

I changed my Toyo Open Country AT tires at 35,000... My Cooper Discoverer ATRs also wore the same... My Cooper Discoverer STTs lasted 40,000-45,000... Pep Boys Dakotas lasted 25,000... on my first Tacoma... and BFG Rugged Fails were replaced at 20,000 on my last two Tacomas.

Mine did too... it was about 25,000 that I could tell they were half way gone... I sure liked them in all conditions, and may be why I go back to them.

Yes, indeed... I have not been a fan of Goodyear, for no special reason.. but the Duratracs do look good. Can you tell me (Pers.Mes. if you wish) how much you paid for them and where? Thanks!

PS I can't imaging a Subaru with Grabber AT2s on it!!! Cool!
