Sorry guys if this has been covered in previous threads, but specifically, I need to know how much these wheels:

    http://www.summitracing.com/parts/brw-909b586040/overview/

--would stick out, compared to the stock wheels. This wheel in question has a 4" back space and -12.00 offset. Trying to understand this is all new to me. I have looked at the diagrams in other threads, but would like to compare to the stock.

Running 2000 Tacoma, 4x4 3.4L with the stock 15" alloy wheels.

I'm not necessarily going to get this wheel, but I'd like to know for future reference. I can tolerate them sticking out about an inch, but don't want anything extreme.

Anything else I need to be aware of when replacing wheels for the 2000 Tacoma?

    Thanks

don't know that I have stk wheel pics...
But I'll throw up some other 8" wheel width mountings.

Here are IS wheels (Ivan Stewart) 16 X 8 @ 4.5" BS (oem)
These had 265/75/16 tires mounted to them.

^ Nominally measured... these are about 31.8/10.50/16

    * a 10.50" tire width is about max utilizing the oem 4.5" BS'ing

    and here is a pic of 16 X 8 ProComp steelies @ 4" BS (Wheeler's type "B")
    These had 285/75/16 tires mounted.

^ Nominally measured... these are about 33.1/11.50/16

    Next step up...
    ProComp 8069-6883 alloys 16 X 8 + 4" BS + -11mm off set
These wheels are sporting 295/75/16 tires...

^ Nominally measured... these are about 33.6/11.65/16

~not only taller... these are about .25" wider then a 285~

    Why 15" wheels ?

Are you running fender flares ?

Might help to know what tire size you intend to run !?

That's helpful. Thanks for the images. I really like the front assembly you've got. Why 15"? Timing mainly. I have brand new tires, but it's time for some new wheels. Then, budget is another issue.

    Would you think the bolt pattern for a 2000 Tacoma be 6 x 5.5? or 6 x 4.5?

I have XD Addicts, -12mm offset and 4.5 backspace and they stick out of my wheel well about 3/4". I have 275 width tires aswell. Im sure 265 or 255 would stick out less then that

Hey TacoDell I'm looking to get the 295/75/16 Dynapro MT's but I'm worried about not getting the properly spec'd wheels in order to fit them.

How much space between the coil spring/ UCA and tire was there with the 4" BS and -11 offset on the 16x8 wheels?

I'm wondering if 4.5" BS would work with a 16x8 wheel and the 295 Dynapro MT
