    My first post.

Used this forum to figure out if it was going to be worth cleaning up my old rims.

They fit. I think they look alright for winter rims.

Thanks for all the help from the members on this forum!

Nice! What kind of paint did you use?

    I used Dupli-Color Gunmetal Metallic
Was a bit of a process. The first can was a tall can, sprayed darker than the short cans, same code. Needed to sand and re-spray the first two wheels. Better, not perfect finish
    The clear coat is Matte

This is a before picture. Sanding in between coats made a big difference.

The two different sprays. Re sprayed the two darker rims. Thought I liked the darker, happy with the lighter color.

I used the Dupli-Color Silver to blend some defects on one of mine. It was a perfect match to the OEM color. I actually bought the graphite with the intentions of redoing all 4, but the silver worked well for now. After seeing yours it has renewed my interest in refinishing them. My main concern is wheel cleaners or other environmental issues possibly etching the "rattle can" finish.

A co-worker did the same thing with the rims for his Sequoia which are the same style.

Was going to use Graphite if I wasn't happy with this try.

Would have liked more options for colors.

I expect I will be touching them up from time to time. They are my winter rims so can work on them in the off season.
