Is 265/70/18 gonna be big enough for my three inch lift I have all this stuff on order and I'm affraid the tires will be to small. I thought that 265/70/18 was almost a 33 inch tire and I'm hoping that is true. Any advice?

I'm sure it's gonna look awesome! 33" tires is usually the biggest they recommend on our trucks with a 3" lift. Your 265/70/18 comes out to 32.60
So basically your gonna be running 33's with a 3" lift.

I have 30.5" tires and they look small on my 3" lift. The extra 2-2.5 inches is gonna make a huge difference in looks once I get my 255/85/16 bfg km2

Put some picks up when you get the new "shoes" on

But see I have 265/70/16 on my tacoma now, I didn't know that going from a 16 inch wheel to a 18 made my tire taller

Yeah I didn't get it at first either but it does. If you search tire size calculator you can just punch in the numbers and it'll calculate your tire size in inches.

    Or

Use this method: ex: tire size is 265/70r16

    (265 x .70) x 2
    ----------------- + 16 = 30.6
    25.4

The way I look at it is, if they take away rubber in the center for a bigger rim then they add it on the outer. If you want to stay around the same height then maybe 265/60/18 (if that's available?)

That's a great tire size choice for a 3" lift. You're good to go. Any larger and you'll need to do more chopping and trimming.
