stock 16" with 3" lift

can i run my stock 16" rims and tires with a 3" lift or do i need spacers eventually getting rims but cant afford it right away

 

I am currently running stock tires and rims with a 3 inch lift. looks goofy as hell but I haven't make my mind up what wheels/tires I want.

Plus I have been buying lift in pieces so I can buy one major thing per pay check. UCA's will be in this week!!!!!

Then my spinners on 20's will be in. j/k

 

The necessity for spacers isn't related to the wheel size, but rather the tire size. If you stay with the 265/70 or 265/75 on the stock 16s, you'll be fine. If you go up to the 285/75s on the stock 16s, you'll need wheel spacers because you're gonna rub the UCAs. I'm running 285s on the stock 16s and I had to get spacers to clear 'em.

you could run most wheels with a 3" lift. i ran my 02 tacoma with stock wheels with a 3" for a while. and no problems.
but now i replaced the stock steelies with 16x8 Pro comp
