So I needed new tires before anything. I ordered mickey thompsons with 4" of back spacing and want to get 285/75/16 (33") tires. Can I put these on now I will be getting a lift kit in 2 weeks the ome with strut spacers to hopefully get as close to 4" lift as I can. So will it be ok to run them until then ? Thanks

Just a few little things. It's my DD
If they fit. Sure they will rub like crazy at turns but why yes this is America you may put whatever tires you want on your truck!!!

I would wait the 2 weeks. Buy it all and have a shop day and do it all in one shot. That way no rubbing or damage.

You are going to run the OME AND spacers?

Never a good idea to stack lifts. Especially if you are 4wd, your CV joints will not be happy, not to mention your ball joints.

I agree with John. You don't want to go over 3" of lift up front with a 4wd unless it's a drop bracket lift. Also, you'll have no downtravel at all.

Ya I actually decided to wait. I was going to get the spacers because I thought ome woukd only give me a 2.5 inch lift and wanted a little better. Guess I won't do that then. Will the 33s fit on that kit. Thanks guys

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Details on your truck? You can do small spacers with OME to get about 3" of lift. Just dont go much higher.
