Question What size tires and rims

I have an 05 Taco and am getting ready to put a 3in procomp lift on it and was wondering what size tires I could run on it? It has stock 17in rims now and I might leave them on or I might buy some other 17's but was wondering what offset I would need and what size tires I could run for both kinds of rims.

Procomp lift rides really stiff from what others say, I've never ran it. 3inch lift = 285/70/17 with 4.5 bs wheels and still possibly some trimming and taking off the mud flaps to not rub. And welcome to the forums. Search bar up top is magical btw.
