My 31x10.5 r15s might be prorated under Discount Tire's warranty and currently the pricing looks like this:

    31x10.5 r15: $185 ea

    32x11.5 r15: $165 ea

I am wondering if I will notice a significant loss of power stepping up to the 32s? Looks like the 31s weight 43 lbs ea and the 32s weigh 47 lbs ea.

Also, will I see a significant drop in fuel economy adding that much more friction and weight per tire?

    Thanks in advance

I'm about to go from 31x10.5 to 32x11.5 or maybe even 33x10.5 (but prob not). my understanding is the 4.10 gears and MT make the difference hardly noticeable. you will lose a slight amount of power and a slight amount of fuel economy but i've been researching it a while and have been assured it is very minimal. use the search tool. there are a ton of threads on this.
