    What kind of tire should I buy for desert use? I was looking at Mickey Thompson, or Nitto, but I'm going to trust your guys judgment more than my own.

    I drive to and from school every day and that's only like 10 miles
    (round trip), sometimes work which is 7(round trip).. other than that I really wanna do off-roading stuff:D

    Well as someone who has the BFG AT's they are a good tire but I dont think I will be getting them again and heres why: When you drive on dirt or sand the rocks get stuck really easily in the tread. I have used them once off road and slid around a little bit and the edges of the tires kind of rounded. Dont get me wrong they are great tires they do well in the rain and they arent very loud. They are really heavy and kicked my MPG in the balls. But I have 5000 miles on them and they arent really worn at all except the edges from me sliding around.
