I just noticed this the other day on my GuardDog from Treadwright:

Just looking for opinions, as I have never seen anything like this. To me it looks like a crack or split in the tread rather than road damage as the people from Treadwright suggest??

    What do you think?

You already called and sent Treadwright pics? From what you said I gather they said it was road damage? I would press the issue. I dont think that is road damage... They are really great about warranties usually.

Funny I got 2 different email from their warranty dept, one asked for a picture of a quarter in the treads and they would prorate a new tire based on that, and someone else emailed me and said it did look like road damage, but, they were going to send me a new tire anyhow.

I have done 2 threads on here about them and researched them as much as humanely possible and the only warranty I have ever seen happen was free replacement not pro rated.

I run their tires as well but mine are big enough they state no warranty on mine.
