tire weight
i know the brakes pretty much suck on 2nd gen. tacomas. but are there any other disadvantages of running a heavy tire (61 lbs). im looking to run an m/t. the bfg m/t's weigh 50 lbs vs the firestone m/t's weighing 61 lbs. thanx for all your expert advice

Just for the record, i dont have a problem with the brakes on the Taco. I've stopped faster in cars but for a truck this size i'm pretty happy with them. Although i probabaly will put performance pads and disks on when its time to change them out. you can never stop too fast (unless you hit a wall....)

firestone weight 61lbs wow... iam getting some remington mud brutes 51lbs..
also weight is different from load range D and E.. E's will be heaveyer... stick with D's for our trucks.. |
