Well my sport wheels have the infamous bubbling underneath the finish. I was wondering what the best way would be to go about removing the finish from my wheels. Don't have access to any sort of blaster. Anyone tackled this job with a wire wheel?

    Thanks

You're probably better off buying a new set of wheels.......

The amount of money it would cost to have them sandblasted (or whatever they'd do to remove the old surface) and resurfaced - would probably exceed the cost of new wheels.

Three of my 4 wheels bubbled on my truck while it was still under the 3/36 warranty. They gave me 3 new wheels. My truck is coming up on 8 years old now and they've been good so far (knock on wood).

    If you type in:
tacoma wheels bubbling (in google), you'll get LOTS of information.
