I went to jack my old 99 Tacoma up the other day and the jack seemed to seize up at the top, and still hadn't picked the truck up enough to remove front wheel. Sadly, it never came back down and I found the cap had popped off the top. I need to replace this jack but I'm not savvy to where I might find such a thing locally. There isn't a pull-apart nearby to my knowledge, so I have a few questions...

What is the capacity of that jack? If I pick up a 2 ton jack at AutoZone will it get me back where I need to be? Is there a place to find an authentic jack instead? (I'm selling the truck, just need to get it back up and running.)
