    New to this forum
Just bought a 2013 tacoma trd 4 door
want to make it look better
went to an off road truck dealer and they quoted me 3000.00 for steps westin, 3 inch suspension lift and new wheels (metal moto/hostile,etc) and tires….with alignment etc
does this sound about right or too high?
    thanks

It depends on what type lift it is. Parts to do a 3 inch lift could be had for around $150 to several thousand. Also if you break down how much each individual piece and labor is somebody else might chime in on how much they paid for the same item.

pretty expensive for everything at once…hmm anyone know if 18's will fit on the stock toyota wheels , that now have 17's on them …? or do i have to change the wheel to allow for a 18 tire?

Only 17 inch tires will fit on 17" rims same deal with 18 inch wheels gotta have 18 inchtires. If you wanna get bigger then stock tires you may have to get new wheels with a diffrent backspacing so the tires dont scrub on the suspension components.
