I just bought a 2012 Tacoma Base 4x4 and I'm looking at some bigger all terrain tires for the winter. What are the pros and cons between the two? And which ones look better?

Is that the same suspension that's on a 2012 reg cab 4x4?

we both have base models so i dont see why they would be any different unless the dealer installed a lift on yours

Stick with the 16" wheels, more sidewall is better for offroading.
Goodyear Duratracs are a safe bet for an all around tire that has to do winter duty.

ToyTec coil over kit, Sliver Coils, Bilstein 5100 front & rear, Light Racing SPC UCA. Painted to match Coils, OEM Tacoma 4 leaf pack, Undercover, AFE Pro Dry air filter, Painted grill surround, FJ Cruiser Trail 17" wheels, Rubber bed mat, fog lights and sliders.

I have a 13 RC 4X4 and found that running the 70r in my case 265/70/17 felt like the truck is planted on the road better.
