I really like the look of the Toyos, however I've heard they are heavy plus they are expensive. I'm probably gonna go with Duratracs. More of an all terrain tire and cheaper. They also seem to be a lighter 33" base on tire racks specs.

What type of driving do you do? Much snow/ice in winter?

I wore out the Mastercraft Courser at's on my truck about a month ago and went with Goodyear Wranger MT/R's in the same size. The only negetive issue is that they are much heavier. Even adding front and rear plate bumpers, bud built skids, sliders, etc... none of that made as big of a different as the tires did. The tires killed my acceleration.

Now the positives. They do great in everything, especially offroad. They handle the snow packed roads better than my wife's Lexus is250 AWD with new all-seasons (well, the car is better balanced and the electronic traction/stability control is great, but the traction ability of the tire is what I'm comparing). Really, I am very impressed with these tires. Their ability to get traction through mud and snow slush is great as well.

Mostly highway with a few trails with a small chance of anything hitting the sidewall, then I'd go Duratracs.

If you want an aggressive tire that does well on the highway, then get KM2's.

I've heard great things about MTR's too, I just have no first hand experience with them.

Toyos will last a long time and do well offroad. Can't speak for any of the others though
