Looking to replace my wonderful stock tires with either the Goodyear's or BFG's. Wanted to see what experience anyone has had with either.

my boss has rugged terrains on his dodge 1500, he has been very unimpressed with the performance in snow/ice.

My truck came with silent armors, they had good winter performance, lasted a long time and had good road manors.

i also had the silent armors on my 08 silverado half ton, very good ride and insane snow and ice performance for an all terrain, our cat parts guy has the rugged terrains on his half ton f150 and hates them

I put BFG Rugged Terrains on my truck and have had no problems off road in mud or snow. They're still fairly new....less than 13,000 km.

I have the Rugged Terrains and have 4,500 miles on them. They are a good all around tire and I've been happy with them, but by no means are they the best tire on the road ... or this site! I've had several sets of BFG ATs in the past and I'll probably go with them next time but I'm happy with the Rugged Terrains to this point.

I'm on my second tacoma. First was 1999 that I bought new and modded with pretty much everything at one time or another for 14 years. Toyota bought it back due to frame rust. New tacoma is exact same truck down to the black color with alpine nav/dvd, tint, de-badged, and softopper, so far.
Went through three sets of the BFG AT's on my 1999 Tacoma (225,000 mi.) and seriously loved them. My new 2013 Tacoma came with GW silent armor pro grade 245/75/16 and so far so good. They're great on the street. Haven't put enough miles in different conditions to really tell anything yet but they've got a lot to live up to after the BFG's.

I'm a new member and this is my first post, but I have been a Tacoma owner since 1999 and just bought my second one.
