Hey all! Planning a cross country move back east and need winter tires and steel wheels. Anyone have any advice or recommendations on where to buy? There is really nothing to choose from here in So California...

Goodyear duratracs might be easy to find.

Where and when are you moving?

    Steel wheels, Ebay...

Tires, check the online stores for Discount/America's Tire, or if you have one close by, check them out....if they don't have them, they can get them...

Damned expensive, but one of the best all-weather type tires is the Michellin LTX M/S2.

X2 on the Michlin's, but I just read that there is a recall on the Michlin LTX M/S2. Something to do with the sidewall integrity. Sorry I can't give you more than that, but before you POP big $$ for the Michlin's, I'd inquire.

yup, they have that recall, but only 2500 tires are affected, even though something like 10,000 are presently out in the wild being used or ready for retail....just check with your retailer before purchase on the Michelin's...
