I'm looking to run the same setup only with WORX rims. What is the backspace with your rims? I like how your tires stick out a little. I also see that you have the UCAs. Were they necessary for clearance or did you just get them for better alignment?

I'm trying to decide which BS & offset to go with. 2 choices are:
BS=5, Offset=+01
or
BS=4.5, Offset= -12

I really want a deeper looking dish/lip to the rim.

My 18x9 rims with the 0 offset have a 5" backspacing. The 4.5" backspacing will give you more of the deep dish look, but the rims will stick out 1/2 inch more. I bought the UCA's for alignment correction.

Great, Thanks! I'm new to the Tacoma forum but not new to off-roading and/or lifting trucks. Been doing it since the early 80's. I'm 53 and I'll never grow out of it! Having too much fun to grow old! hahaha

17x8.5 fuel offroad hostage 106 bore 5.75" back space +25 offset
Would this work on a 2005 pre runner with stock suspension?

Thanks!

Hello fellas,

I'm looking to buy all new wheels and tires. I know the rims I want but need help matching the tires. I drive a 2000 Tacoma Prerunner and I don't want to alter the vehicle. The lift is fine.

Here are the rims I like

http://www.wheelsforless.com/HE87869068212N

What size tire goes with these rims?

TIA

As a I start I'd like to propose a sticky on the specifications for the stock wheels available to Tacomas. Personally, I own a 2nd Gen with the 16" steelies, so I would need input from other members, but this thread can also be expanded to include info for 1st Gens as well. Useful information would be: diameter, width, offset, backspacing, weight and bolt pattern. Here is what I know so far:

2nd Generation Tacoma:
Base Steel Wheels: 15x6, +40 mm offset, ? backspacing, 5x4.5" bolt pattern, ? hub bore, ? lbs
SR5 Steel Wheels: 16x7, +? mm offset, ? backspacing, 6x5.5" bolt pattern, ? hub bore, ? lbs
TRD Sport Alloy Wheels: 17x7.5, +30 mm offset, 5.5" backspacing, 6x5.5" bolt pattern, 108 mm hub bore, ? lbs
TRD Off-Road Wheels: 16x7, +32 mm offset, 5.25" backspacing, 6x5.5" bolt pattern, ? hub bore, ? lbs
X-Runner Alloy Wheels: 18x8, +30 mm offset, ? backspacing, 5x4.5" bolt pattern, ? hub bore, ? lbs
TRD Baja Alloy Wheels: 16x7, +? mm offset, ? backspacing, 6x5.5" bolt pattern, ? hub bore, ? lbs
Ivan Stewart TRD Alloy Wheels: 16x8, +1 mm offset, ? backspacing, 6x5.5" bolt pattern, ? hub bore, 23 lbs
TRD FJ Cruiser Allow Wheels: 16x7.5, +15 mm offset, ? backspacing, 6x5.5" bolt pattern, ? hub bore, ? lbs

This list is far from complete but I will try to continue to update it if people offer up the needed information. Perhaps even expand this to include tire sizes as well?
Base Steel Wheels: 15x6, +40 mm offset, ? backspacing, 5x4.5" bolt pattern, 60.1mm hub bore, ? lbs

Hey I just went through this whole thread and I couldn't find an answer. I have a 2004 4wd extra cab (obviously 6 lug); I was looking at some 15" 6 lug rims (plan on running 33x10.5 R15). Will these clear the front brakes? I know the base models come with 15's. The offset is like -30 so spindle clearance will not be an issue.

2015 Toyota Tacoma

Folks,

I am the new kid on the block. I would like some specifications information on stock alloy wheels for the 2015 Tacoma. I am looking into changing my stock wheels for some black allow without having to change the tires, which are the BFG Rugged Terrain T/A. Any advice?

Thank you in advance.
